| I live in central Florida. Right now we have flocks of, what I believe are called Brown headed Cowbirds that are winter residence in my area. There are flocks of them at my feeders and bird baths.
I have notice quite a few, at least five, are puffed up and appear sick. While they are still eating and drinking it is apparent there is something wrong and they seem to be getting worse daily.
I know in nature birds get sick and die but is there anything I can do in the way of food or anything that will help them? It just seems like a lot of birds sick at one time and it doesn’t seem normal, but perhaps I’m being overly concerned and it is perfectly normal.
Can anybody give me any information?
Thanks
