Question #1: If you joined a birding group, would you want your name to be published on the group's website as a "new member"?

Question #2: If the group went ahead and published your name without asking your permission or telling you first, how would you feel about it?

Question #3: If your answer to #1 would have been "no, don't publish my name," but you find yourself in the #2 scenario (your name was published, anyway), would you say something? Or would you just let it slide because it's not that big a deal to you, or it's seems ungracious to make a fuss, or ...(please elaborate your reason)...?

Question #4: If these questions pertained to your child's name (if your child had joined the birding group as well), would your answers be the same or different?
