i was in my garden and i saw a bushtit like bird. i wasn't sure if it was but it was relatively small, had the right kind of song and was in my honeysuckle bush. The only thing throwing me off is that it had a red patch on the back of the head. is it a bushtit? I live in Texas so idk if there just visiting for a while?

My guess would be a Ruby-crowned Kinglet.

Yup, sounds like a Ruby-crowned Kinglet...they winter in the southern states into Mexico.
