another mealworm question

| My beetles are over 2 weeks now and it looks like mating going on in there, Do the females lay their eggs in the bedding? I took a piece of potato out of there, would there possibly eggs on it? should I just pitch it Or put it somewhere to see if there are any eggs growing there? |

| I just give it a good tapping, hoping that if there are any eggs I'll knock them off. Then I throw it away. |
