Bluebird watching trip to Ecuador Amazing

| I can not believ my husband and I just got back from the most wonderful birdwatching experience ever. We decided to go to Ecuador to visit and found out about this "hotspot" if u will of an incredible amount of not only blue birds but other species as well.This place was at a resort near Pedro Vicente a small town, this resort has an aviary that attracts the birds in the morning, but you have to wake-up really early...We saw so many, we couldn't get enough pictures of them all, anyone interested in a concentrated area of birdwatching, that likes to travel might want to go to this place its called Arasha Resort & Spa-it was fabulous,we saw this one electric blue-colored huge hummingbird that was drinking off of these little upside down feeders they have for them and the guide told us its water mixed with a bit of sugar, that they love it....check it out, I've been to many places including Costa Rica and this doesn't even compare-they have info on the birdwatching I think on their website..wonderful experience |

| I'm so jelous!!! Jelous of the fact that your husband is game to go on bird trips and jelous you went! that's so awesome... sounds like a DREAM vacation... do you have any pics you can post? I'd love to see! thanks, april |
