tres fledged hosps gone

All 5 babies took to the sky with ease yesterday, such a beautiful sight! What a nasty stinky nest! I did find the first two eggs she laid before we had the freezing weather. I was so relieved to see this bunch so healthy after losing 3 babies last year. The HOSPs left 2 days after I posted the CRAP thread. The male never did show up and did not check out any boxes so I am sure they went back to wherever they had their first nesting to raise more UUUGGG. Do first year birds mate?

I didn't have any tres this year. The *&^% wrens made sure of that. Congrats on your babies :)
