Female bluebird attack

I have many bird houses, feeders, bird baths and have had for many years. Each year I get a couple pairs of bluebirds. In one territory is Horatio and Isabel this year. On Saturday, it was raining, and I noticed a dead baby bird on the driveway. I scooped it up with a shovel and placed it into the woods so the dogs would not get it. I feel it was attacked by sparrows. When the weather cleared, I walked onto the porch and Horatio and Isabel were very upset, angry. They were on the purple martin house then on the post of the deck where I sit. I walked into the yard and Isabel flew at me numerous times, so close I had to duck. I went and sat on the deck and she flew at me there. I think she thinks I killed her baby. Because the day before, they had a baby in their house. Now no longer. Yesterday, they were gone. I knew after two tries this year for a baby and failing, they would leave. Sad.
