| So my second nesting fledged last Tuesday 26th all 5 babies I was at work so I'm hoping everything went well, its been so hot here in the St.Louis area with temps over 100 the last 7 days. I didn't have an opportunity to clean out the house until Friday the 29th and when I went to do this daddy blue started flying at me so I thought surely there wasn't a baby I missed...no Mama was in the box starting a new nest already I have never not cleaned out a nest box but I've never seen them begin a new one so soon, I let it be and today I have 4 more eggs in the box so its so far been a very good yr for the blues. I'm just concerned with the heat now with this new group of babies. |

| Wow, this sure has been the year for third clutches. This should help increase the Bluebird population. Congrats on your third nesting! |
