Babies hatching today

Checked the box this morning
One of 4 had hatched. Will check again tomorrow to see if the rest hatched.
This box is on a metal post in my garden and when I was out checking on her and gathering my tomatoes I found a nest in the middle of a tomato that is caged. I believe it is a song sparrow nest. One was in the same area last year. Her babies also were hatching today.
This is the latest we have had blue birds.
Ya summer continues.

My Bluebird's third clutch just hatched this morning. From what everyone else is saying, I'm guessing this is late. She only laid three eggs this time, but all three hatched. I thought the Blues would be gone by this time of year, so I'm feeling mighty lucky to still have them here.

Well the 4 little ones flew the coup today. I did not see them go(the weeds in my garden have gotten to tall to see the nest box well & Mom was not happy about me being out there, so I decided not to weed (good excuse anyway)).
It was day 18 and mom has parted the hair on my head several times when I was in the garden picking tomatoes and beans.
They made it threw the very hot spell we had, I tried to put up a umbrella, but mom was so upset with me, I decided it was not worth it.
Was just glad to see they all made it out of the nest and into the real world.
