3rd brood in Ohio...

...even though they were about 10 days late starting this year, my bluebirds now have their third clutch of eggs in my Gilbertson PVC box. Tickled at the prospect of having baby blues around well into September. A first for me.

I think it's just been so dang hot this summer...they think they're farther south...ssshhh!

Congratulations Ron,

Our pair is currently incubating their 4th nest(Day9)... which is also a first for them. It is hot here too, so you might be right about that affecting their decision to go again so late in the season.
