Handfeeding bluebird

Here's a picture of me handfeeding a male bluebird. I could actually call them into the mealworm feeder by ringing a bell and they became used to me. They are soooooo soft to touch.

| That's really neat. May I ask what you are feeding them? I can't tell from the picture, but it doesn't appear to be mealworms. |

| Hi Kendra........I have mealworms in my hand. They go crazy over them especially when they have young to feed. You are also probably seeing C&S Bluebird nuggets which I have seen them eat, and I also put homemade BB suet and blueberries in the feeder. Their best treat is the mealworms though. |

| Thanks Hannah. I was really curious what you were feeding because the picture made it appear to be something like berries. They do so love the mealworms. |
