Would like to have some feedback from those lucky folks who have camped at Lake Tahoe California or in the Sierra's. Share some of your experiences here on the forum.

We reside at Lake Tahoe, go on backpacking excursions every weekend to Hope, Faith and Charity Valleys (when accessible), take the long way through Desolation Trail, and hike through our own trail system at Echo and Angora Mountains which we call our backyard.
