Hiya all, well we finally got a good snowstorm that dumped 14 inches on us. I love it. I have been out so much over the weekend playing, shoveling, playing, clearing cars, playing, walking the dog, playing, snowball fighting, you get the picture. I LOVE SNOW!!!!!

Lynda, we got about 10 inches here! I enjoy the snow also but don't like having snow days because I hate making them up in June! My husband just took the kids out sledding and I decided to stay home because it means I can have the house to myself for a short period of time! A very rare occurence around here! Did you go out to the campground?

Our area is generally blanketed with about 28-30 inches of snow. Thank goodness for snowblowers and plows.

I had been up in the Washington, DC suburbs since mid-December, but needed to return to South Carolina Sunday. We started listening to the weather reports on Wednesday, and first changed our planned departure to Saturday mid-morning, and finally got up at 5:00 am, loaded the car, and left around 6:30 out from under the first flurries. Friends back in the area reported 6 or 8 inches of snow. Not that bad, I guess, but it was nice to cover the 520 miles back without any of it!

We live in the Sierra Nevadas. This is our 2nd winter here. Last year we only had maybe 6" the whole winter. This year we've had 4' so far & were snowed in for 2 weeks till someone up the road hired a plow to clear the main road. They say it's one of the craziest winters ever. Everyone's running out of fire wood. Maybe it's just cause it's all new to me, but I'm loving it. It's soooo beautiful!

Snow? What's THAT? No snow yet this year in St. George, Utah. I do have a ton of it just north of hear in Pine Mountain, though. I just can't bring myself to snowshoe in it this year. I love to snowshoe with others. Snowshoeing is a comedy of errors for me. I always sink or get buried somehow. what a hoot. I just can't bring myself to leave the warmth of the desert and head up there....brrr.... |

Here in Ohio it is a winter wonderland right now. I am hoping this is winter's last hurrah. I'm ready for spring and CAMPING!!!! It has been a long hard winter. Also, we bought a larger used camper last fall and did some work on it so we are eager to get it on the road. Come on spring.

Here along the S.E. coast of N.C. we just got the cold and the wind. Got my fly rods out and they are ready to go ... just need some co-operation from Mother Nature! Dale

I've got snow on top of snow with more snow continually falling! Lake Ontario keeps making more and sending it east.
