| It's -5 below 0 and all I can think of is riding motorcycle and camping! Anyone here have suggestions for riding, camping & cooking with a dog. She's a 8lb. mini Rat Terrier, and this will be her first year camping. She rode with us last summer & loved the motorcycle. We pull a tent trailer- so we're sleeping off the ground but we need to really limit our trailer load weight. We find shopping for food on the road is best- gives us a chance to try some local specialties too. Looking forward to hearing from other Motorcycle campers! |

We knew someone who had a custom gas tank carpet for his dog to ride on. Another friend's dog would ride on back, with a sissy bar, and fall asleep and he would have to put his hand back and hold him. We know people that use their hard saddle bags as coolers for food. We got a T-Bag, a backpack that fits over the sissy bar, we like that. We have camped with the T-Bag, a back pack, and whatever else we could strap to the bike....no dog though, she is a huge lab, we had to leave her at home. |
