Anyone have any suggestions for places to camp in the Richmond area of Virginia. How do Virginia state parks rate?
Also any ideas for Virgina Beach up to the Chesapeake Bay area.

I've heard Janes Island is very nice and have been wanting to go for years! Let us know what you end up with! Don't forget about the Shenandoah National Park area if that area is an option!

I live in Charlottesville and I camp at First Landing state park. Great place. I hope to get down there this year.
