Automatic tent for lazy people like me

| A couple years ago while camping I saw this guy with a tent that had the polls built into it and it took him about 25 seconds to have it erected. I have looked everywhere for a tent like this but have found nothing. I found several Euopean and asian websites with an umbrella style tent but this is not what i'm looking for. This has poles built-in and when you unfolded the tent and stand it up the pole had these hinges on them that you locked into place so the tent would not collapse.
I want this tent! anyone know what I'm talking about?
I'd like to know where i can find one.

| I havent' seen a self setting up tent that is of a quality worth having! I don't know which one you saw so maybe I'm wrong. But the ones I have seen are really not worth it! |

| A lady friend of ours has something like what you describe. It is a Greatland Hex dome tent. Believe it or not, she bought it at a local Target store five years ago. Hope this helps. |

Ya ought to buy or build a "Tear-drop" trailer! Easy to tow, light weight, all set up as soon as you arrive, sleeps 2, kitchen on the back, just unhook if ya want to, or leave it hooked to the car! Won't blow down in hard wind, bears can't get cha, nor baddies! Carry a folding table and chairs, keep all yer stuff in it when traveling, and in the tow car at night! Never saw a tent that sets itself up! Although, i have seen some folks who thought the tent would do that! Sat and watched it until dark, then went to a motel! |

| Sounds like an Apache / Atuffy Instant Tent Apachetents.com These are well made tents. Set up in about 60 seconds and the rainfly goes on in another 60 seconds. Literally. |

| We did have the Texsport Minuteman dome tent. It literally sets itself up. We tried to find another one but it is either a discontinued product or completely out of stock. If you find it, let me know. |

| Definitely sounds like an Atuffy tent. (Formerly Apache) These tents are constructed of high quality materials and can literally be set up in less than a minute. They are a little pricey, but well worth it if you are looking for ease of use (speed). |

| I bought a around 12'x12' dome tent from sears with the fiberglass poles built in and it does set up rather quickly. I like it very much. No searching for poles. It was maybe $129.00 or around there. dave |

| Wow, very cool!!! an automatic tent. It's really nice no need to build a tent for a long time and it's great because building a tent will waste your time. |
