Eureka Timberline 2X.

Great 3 season, self suporting, light weight tent.
I have used them for years and have been very pleased with their preformence.

You may want to search your local area for outfitters that may carry them. Campmor is a great company to do business with. But always try to find a local business to purchase your camping items first. That way you will have their support and be able to pick up and hold what you may wish to buy.

Here is a link that might be useful: Campmor

I'll second that. I camp by motorcycle, not by backpack, so I can afford a bit more weight and bulk and I use the Eureka Timberline 4X. I looked around extensively before replacing it a year or two ago, and bought the same model again. There are cheaper tents and there are even slightly lighter much more expensive tents, but in my opinion you can't beat this one for value.

We've used two larger Eurekas for past 3 yrs. IMO can't beat the value for the price. You can spend lots more for a name, and not get much more in a tent.
Got them from VT ARMY NAVY ONLINE. Very good price, delivery and service. Was concerned when one plastic clip was broken when I unpacked it, but one phone call got a new one shipped that day and a return tag and full credit.

Thanks. It is my first tent. I checked ebay out. They have good trip for the tent.

Actually, the XT's have two doors instead of one, and an attached vestibule, and a bit more weight. They also cost about $25 more than the standard Timberlines.

That website information would be:

www.vtarmynavy.com

And the name is Barre. I have done some business with these folks and they do real good service wise. Also, had the lowest pricing for Eureka at the time (2 years ago) plus they had a freight paid policy then.
