Hi everyone. Im new here...been lurking for a few weeks and throught I'd post some news for a change.
Years ago...about 22 now my family and I use to camp lot. At least once a month...weather permitting of course. Sometimes we would stay only a weekend...sometimes 2 weeks(vacation). The kids always brout a friend. We have 3 kids so it was most of the time 5 kids with use...sometimes 6. We ALWAYS had a blast. Well as time went on we got a pool...so no need to go to the river to swim anymore. The kids got older...lives of their own....you know the story. Well anyway...we decide to have a CAMPING trip reunion. So we set the date for it. All of us...me, hubby, our 3 kids and their friend. We had such a blast. And so much more fun for me. DIDNt have to worry about the *babies* anymore. Also help with K.P. duty. We went to Red Bluff as we use to then. Everything looked smaller to them they said..LOL. We all had a great time. So it looks like we will be camping more often now. But sure do need to *update* our camping stuff...LOL
Sorry so long but wanted to share. Dont give up on camping. Enjoy the nature. ITs beautiful out there.

RE: Back to camping

Welcome! There are lots of new things out! I saw a tent at WAlly World the other day that connected four tents with side chutes. It looked like a tent condo all hooked together. You could go from tent to tent from the sides.

Only dilemma.... which tent is the mother in law tent? hmm...

LOL....MIL tent...I don't think so. Love her to pieces but NOT taking her camping.LOL
We looked at that tent..or one like it. But think we are going to just get a tent big enough for us...with our queen size blow up bed....cant do the sleeping on ground anymore.
But the dome tent we got...oh gosh...22-25 years ago is 7 1/2 feet high in the middle and now most are just 6 foot...if your luckiy. Hubby is just a little over 6 ft tall. Hmmmm...he may have to just bend over alittle...oh well will keep looking.
