I've found a good resource to free campgrounds in the Northwest..There are 3 books covering the states of Washington, Oregon and Idaho..Most of these camps are in remote, secluded and beatiful areas sometimes with few other campers...You can check these books out at 'raysguides free campgrounds' on the Web..Happy camping...Samk

Sounds good. I do a lot of FREE camping up at Stampede pass, but don't know a lot of the other areas like over in the Okanagon so I'll have to order up one of these books.
Thanx,

Very interesting.. But a real place for camping is better because you'll enjoy more and you're sure of your safeness.. But thanks it's interesting.

Here is a link that might be useful: Yellowstone Cabins

You should try camping in British Columbia (Vancouver island, Canadian Rockies)..absolutley beautiful!! there are over there more than 1100 free camp sites to enjoy. Last year we took a plane to Vancouver, and rented our car and the full camping gear over there. (rent-a-tent-vancouver, a week camping gear rental was about one night hotel)..on the website they have also a lot of info on free camping.
