Well, here, near Pittsburgh, Pa., with Steelers fever, and baseball, and that stuff, guys are always looking for an older motor home, to paint it yellow and black, and make it into a Steelers Bus! Several guys up at the local gas station expressed interest in it, but thought my price was way too high! Its a 1978 Dodge Mini, and has been used by us for a lot of years. So, i gave them a price i thought was fair, but, nooo--they didn't like it. So, they made a counter offer! NOOO, i didn't like it! They want it for $500, and i've decided after this weekend, they are going to have to find another one! I took it away for the weekend, and now i'm keeping it. Too bad, nice guys, but CHEAP!! I'll drive it until either it or I croak, and those guys can go on camping in their tents and trucks!
It wouldn't look good, in black and yellow! Why, the old thing would have to hang its head when they'd drive it any where! I've had some good times in it, we took it everywhere, so "away wit ya"! Be like selling my dear old tabby cat to a mouse factory!;0) |
