| I noticed the other thread about what's up this winter, and saw a few people post that they are still active outdoors.
Same here. One trail is unique, so I posted a new topic.
Actually, it's called the "Collings Mountain" trail, and has the only Sasquatch trap in the country.
Made this page for it...
Collings Mountain trail with Bigfoot trap
That was last week that I went there a again. Two days ago, just a few miles away, I found a delightful hike at Cook and Green trail...
Cook and Green trail
The greatness of the hiking in Rogue River National Forest and Red Buttes Wilderness is the remarkable solitude. In a year, I may have passed other hikers twice. |

| Has anything ever been caught in the trap??? |

| I've read that a bear or two were caught and released. It's certain that the trop must have been monitored fairly closely considering what their goal was. If their intended prey really existed, it would be the pits if it starved or thirsted to death. |

| I wonder if there are any Jersey Devil traps? It would have to be fire proof. Could you imagine if it really caught a Big Foot? |

Hey, Jen, don't you remember--My sister in law was the Jersey Devil! And, she made a run for it, tried to hide in Florida, got caught by the folks from the "funny" farm, and now they have her locked up! Haven't had any sightings of her/it lately, have they? Well, go figure! Rusty |

| Rusty, you are a trip! You know there are people over here who really believe in that devil! Bet they didn't know it was a relative of yours! The legend is all wrong! They say it's a male! |

| Our home is up for sale, to move north this year, so I went on a hike by the trap yesterday, while I have the chance. Took some measurements and added those to the webpage link. I also submitted one winter photo to the Wikipedia article stub for the Bigfoot Trap. Not sure if I tagged it right for Wikipedia for long term display. |
