Ladybug eggs?

Posted by timvid (My Page) on

I found these on the brick wall close to our patio light. They're not as yellow as other photos I've seen of ladybug eggs, but I haven't seen anything else similar. Anyone think this is something else?

Thanks,

I think that they are something else because you found them on a brick wall. No self respecting ladybug would lay eggs anywhere but on a plant, hopefully one that is infested with aphids (or other pests) so that the larvae (who cannot fly) will be able to begin eating right away.

hi there,
I am pretty sure those eggs are from a Stinkbug..
Please check the link

Here is a link that might be useful: Stinkbug

They certainly look like the photo of stinkbug eggs, especially the way the tips of them reflect the flash from the camera. The description on your link said they lay them underneath leaves, so I don't know what the motivation would be to lay them on brick. Thanks for the information.

Tim
I watched Stinkbug MAMA before, laying her eggs on the screening of my porch..
