Scorpion Vs. giant water bug

Hi, I currently own a black emperor scorpion that is around 4.5 inches in length including the tail. I work at a mill and found some giant water bugs that are roughly the same size. My buddies think that i should feed the giant water bugs to the scorpion. Any thoughts as to if the water bugs will be able to harm my scorpion?

I feed Thor only home grown things like crickets and superworms. I wouldn't recommend feeding something that may have parasites, external or internal, if you value your pet and its longterm health. I'd forego the "cool" factor of seeing it eat a waterbug, but it's up to you.
