weird bug id help needed

Have been tryin to id these bugs and can't seem to figure out what they are. They were found in Humble,Texas, if that helps any. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

The insects in these images have many of the characteristics of soldier flies, Stratiomyidae. I was unable to find a near match on the Web.

Hi,
could those be the BLACK FLIES or also called: Buffalo Gnats???
Familie is * Simuliidae *
and they bite..

Naw, these are closer to Hermetia illucens as per Larry.
