| can you id these from these pictures. They are in my mulch pile. Should I disgard the mulch or can it be used? Thanks

| I guess the idea of spreading mulch that has insects in it around my plants and near my house disturbs me. Never thought much about it until I uncovered these ants. |

| They are ants and completely harmless in every way -- unless they bite. In any case they clearly by now have taken their offspring to saftey after being disturbed. No problem using the mulch whatsoever. |
