Is this a brown recluse?

| My husband thinks it is, I am not so sure. They are in my house.

| They call it a brown recluse, because it is reclusive. I was just listening to a spider expert who said that the recluse lived in this home they went to in the midwest, and there were probably 100 thousand in this buildings basement, but they were never seen in the living quarters of the building and nobody was ever bit. |

| The brown recluse is also called a "fiddleback" because it has a fiddle-shaped pattern on it's back. This has no fiddle-shape on the back, so it's not dangerous. |

| A fun trick I learned: At night, take a flashlight outside. Turn it on and put the end on your forehead. Aim the light towards the grass. You will notice tiny shiny "lights" in the grass. If you get up close to them, you will see your spiders. They will be everywhere. At least they are here, the same kind you have the picture of. My sister taught me that trick when she was in the girl scouts. They are harmless though. |
