Monarch caterpillar in trouble

I found 3 monarch caterpillars on Wensday, 1 turned into a chrysilis Thursday, another on hung itself up today (friday) but my girls bumped into the tank that I am keeping them in, and he fell off, I put him on a leaf thinking he would climb up and attach himself again but the next time I checked on him he was turning into the chrysilis, I read that you can tie a thread to the black tip thing and hang them from a small branch or something but when I was getting the thread on I accidently dropped him and some of the juice came out, is he a gonner or might he still possibly develop but with a disability?

You should post this in the Butterfly Forum. There are many true experts in the raising of moths and butterflies over there. If they can't help you, nobody can!

Here is a link that might be useful: Here....I'll take you to the Butterfly Forum!
