Dragonfly Giant

Hi, I work in a big box garden center and last year I saw a dragonfly that was at least 12" long. By the time I could get another employee to come and look, it was gone. They all said I was losing it from the heat. That is their standard answer to everything except "do you want a piece of cake I made?" Has anyone else ever seen such a large dragonfly?

RE: Dragonfly Giant

No, such a dragon fly does not exist, though it is reported that the Giant Darners (a type of dragonfly) can get close to 6 inches in length.
