Please tell me what this is- photo NY

| This past week we are seeing thousands of these around our back deck and yard, especially at night. They are 1/4 inch long. Should I be concerned about them? Are they an indication of something wrong in my house or garden? I apologize for the poor quality of the photos. Thanks.

| Thanks, Jean, for the ID. I looked them up and we are in a prime place for these little guys. I guess we'll grin and bear it. At least they're not eating my house!! |
