Another thread brought this question to mind. Which is more aggressive? Killer bees or Yellow Jacket wasps?

I'm guessing killer bees.

If killer bees lived up to their name, there should be no survivors to make a first-hand comparison.

Googling "killer bees" gives about 10,000 times the results as does "killer yellow jackets", but that's not a good gauge of aggressiveness.

I wonder if yellow jackets are more deadly, that is, do yellow jackets kill more people each year than "killer" bees.

Are West Nile virus-bearing mosquitoes as aggressive as yellow jackets? These mosquitoes have certainly overtaken killer bees in the media the past few years.

I would pick Mothra over Godzilla, if that shows you where I'm coming from.

I guess that depends on who's gettin' stung. For me, Yellow Jackets 3, Killer Bees 0, Scorned X-Girfriend 1.

Darn, I thought this philosophical thread would attract more responses.

Sorry about the girlfriend.

My neighbor was spraying wasps today, they looked pretty aggressive.
