Name this Greek beetle!

| This guy was found at a Greek beach.Length is about 1,5cm (0,6").Any ideas about its ID would help...

| But if I had seen this message first, it would have been all dayXday. Well, a search for "beetles of greece" or "greek beetles" turns up either darkling beetles or a cockroach as possibilities. It's all you, Mark. It's probably a very common beetle and would show up in a Greek or European guidebook on insects. |

| It could be Cetonia morio.What confuses me is that it lacks the antennas typical of that species...Anyway i think i'm now pretty close to its ID.Thanx guys for the help! Mark. |
