Argiope aurantia-Protecting Egg Sac(s)

So far, she has just one, but I understand she could have more than 1, but not more than 4. Anyway, we have had a bad grasshopper year in Oklahoma, and are expected that to be followed by another next year. The Argiope are predators of grasshoppers, and I am wondering if there is any way to protect her egg sac from adverse weather until the spiderlings emerge next spring, and also from being attacked by predators as well.

I know, it may seem silly, but I am a nature lover, and I would like to keep these beneficials in my garden.

Susan

She knows what she's doing. Leave the egg sac be.
