Another moth needing ID... (Smerinthus?)

| I have tried to find a match, with no luck....I know someone here will know....Smerinthus is my best guess, but I didn't get anywhere.....
This little guy is all dressed up with no where to go!

| Yes, indeed! Actually, these are the ones I am raising and not the eumorpha pandorus. I have 7 in varying stages of growth that I have rescued from the Virginia Creeper. They are in the brown form. Beautiful caterpillars, beautiful moths! They are happily chowing down in the container. Some have lost their horn already, but a few are smaller instars and still have it. The eumorphas are the ones that lost their horn in later instars. Susan |

| Bingo! Thanks DBD!! I was watering one of my flower beds yesterday and "flushed" him out....glad he landed in a good spot for me to get some pics of him! |
