Need advice on bees

A friend is having problems with honey bees building a hive in the wall of his home.

The 70+ pounds of honey and hive have been removed once. Now, the bees have returned. He is spending this weekend removing the small hive. (Two weeks ago, there was no hive.)

Can anyone provide a solution?

Beekeepers have indicated they would tear out the walls. And, they would charge $400 or more to remove the bees. This would not include any repairs to the damage they cause during the removal (walls).

The Cajun cure hasn't worked.

I would suggest enjoying the honey. :)
I have been doing a lot of research on the Honey Bee. They are in so much peril. I'm afraid that a beekeeper would smoke them which I believe is one of their problems.
Is there any way at all to leave them there and adapt to their being there?
I know that is a lot to ask but, they are in dire need of some extraordinary help from us.
You might put some hives up and then start beating on the wall, occasionally. I had some start building a hive in my wall like that and I was going to leave them but, it was right next to my front door and the frequent slamming of the door was too disturbing to them and they left.
