Huge unknown itty bitty insect hatch out

I live in vermont and we've had a couple of days of warm weather. It's been in the upper 30's to low 40's which is highly unusual for late December. I was just outside and noticed my house is covered with these teeny tiny bugs. They look like little fleas with antennae and they seem to want to climb up any vertical beam on the exterior of the house. They are moving slowly but some seem to jump. I've never seen them before and we've lived in this house for 5 years. I did just have a large new porch put on in the fall and wonder if the bugs were in some of the lumber but most of it was pressure treated. The image is not very good becaseu they are so small. I'd guess they are less than an 1/8 of an inch in lenght. I'm wondering if I should just live and let live or attack with no mercy. Any thoughts? BTW, there are billions of these things climbing the walls right now. I'm inclined to spray but......

Here is a link that might be useful: bugs

What's the link to?

Link wanted me to sign in to the website. You have to give us a link that will work for non-users of the website. But my first guess is springtails. They will appear on top of snow on warmer days, even if the temps are only 35-38F. They are tiny, black spots that jump a lot.

The link was to a photo I took of the bugs. Sorry about the sign in thing. I haven't learned how to post a photo directly to the site yet. I had someone over today who called them "Snow fleas"

Snow Flea

I just googled "snow flea" and sure enough, they are springtails!. Thanks for the response. Apparently they are beneficial insects so I won't spray them but, Holy Cow!, I have a lot of them.

Correction: they are not beneficial, just not harmful! I certainly wouldn't spray them either, but you shouldn't consider them a beneficial insect. FYI
