small lizard southern Callifornia

| This little guy keeps coming into my classroom; he's been in there every morning for a couple weeks now. I had an empty terrarium and put him there for temporary observation for the students. Anyone know what he is? He eats crickets and is active in the daytime. Maybe a juvenile alligator lizard or a skink of some type? Thanks for any help. |
