Snake identification help

This was (presumably) a baby snake that we found dead in our driveway. It was ~8 inches long.

We live in the Atlanta metro area, but do have a fair amount of woods and whatnot near our home.

After doing some research online I 'think' it could be a baby Gray Rat snake. The makings look similar and (although not in the pictures) I specifically recall it having a 'white' colored belly.

Thoughts?

Whatever it was, it's not a rattler, coral snake or copperhead ... and you may see fewer mice and chipmunks munching your garden.

Its a juvenile Midland Water Snake. They are nonvenomous and harmless.
