The site has a VIP section for photographers but you have to apply via the contact us section on the top of the page.

Photographers will have their work referenced back to their website and get lots of exposure as the community grows.

They seem to be testing the site at the moment but I think it's one to watch.. and most importantly it's FREE! Great for those of us who are 'feeling the pinch'.

You can add sightings, photos, places to go birdwatching, events and so forth. It creates Year and Life lists for you also.
