 o
question on lens type

I have an Olympus E-10, and for the most part I'm very happy with it, takes very nice pics. I got what they call their tele extension lens 1.45X, but it's not very good at all for getting close ups of birds, or anything else for that matter:) I know I need to study up on lens/powers and such but for now any suggestions on a lens that would do better for me?

RE: question on lens type

I am not familer with what lenses Olympus has, but I can give you some general ideas. For taking pictures of birds a lens of 200mm or larger is best. A zoom lens from 80 to 200mm or 70 to 300mm would work also. The tele extension lens that you have could also work with these lenses to bring an object even closer, but with a decrese in quality.
