In my own yard

I love the quality this camera gives me. This is a echeveria in my yard. Close up. It has a baby growing on it, not pictured though.
A baby blue jay got kicked out of its nest by squirrels. I promise that mom and dad were still protecting the babies though. I took this pic while dad dived repeatedly at me, vulnerable as I was on my belly, lol. (there were 3 babies)
The bees love my lavender. I have three types of bees on it, but these big guys are beautiful. I have never been stung by any and they are on the lavender along my main walk.
Who says you cant find beauty in town. My yard was a blank palette when I moved here three years ago. Now I have about 100 plus varieties of plants. Trying to plant more coneflowers for the butterflies. Hope to get some butterfly pics for here soon.
