Here's a small sample of some of the plant photos I have taken this year... IDs are more than welcome on some of the flowers since I really don't know what they are.

Nice pictures! I particularly like the second picture of grass.

Figure I may as well ID some of these guys, too:

first flower: some kind of magnolia
leaves right below the magnolia: look like box elder, a.k.a. ash-leaf maple, a.k.a. Acer negundo
second flower: probably Rosa multiflora (multiflora rose)
third flower: probably dame's rocket, Hesperis matronalis
fourth flower: spring beauty, Claytonia virginica
fifth flower: buckeye, Aesculus sp.; probably Aesculus pavia, red buckeye
last picture: jack-in-the-pulpit, Arisaema triphyllum

Thank you very much, Patrick. I really had no idea what a couple of those were, I just liked the way they looked!

I know you from some of the herp forums there are, I post on a few, but i go by salbert on all of them.

Thanks again,

Scott Albert

Great job, I think my favourite is the grass with the black background.

Number 8 could be wild phlox. I love the grass with the black BG, too!

Very striking images - I love the first two particularly. Well done!
