Bino/digi camera??

Has anyone used and taken pictures with any digital camera binocular combo? specifically I'd be interested in seeing the results from busnells 3.1 megapixel camera. Thanks Dan

Well, the short version is: binoculars are cheaper than good long-focal-length lenses. Since most of the cost in either one of those is the optics, there's no free lunch--binoculars are cheaper because the optics aren't as good. Not worth bothering with for photography, IMO.

I've read a lot of comments about those gadgets and have never read a post from a satisfied user.

My wife gave me one as a gift (digital bino-cam) thinking the photos would look like the picture on the box. They really look like a picture taken with a webcam only less color, if that's possible. Don't waste you money. I understand some spotterscopes can be mated with a good camera with great results. Expect to pay a bit for quality oprics though.
