| Barbara - I'll forgive the spamming (you really should have read the forum guidelines before pimping your book) if you will check out the following link: http://absolutewrite.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=115 Publish America is a very shady publisher, and $16.95 for a paperback of 109 pages is a rip-off price for the reader. Lulu.com would publish a book that size for $4.14 ... that's about what it costs PA to print theirs. PA is planning to make its money from the copies you buy for friends and family, and the copies they persuade you to buy. Unfortunately, you are stuck in PA's one-sided contract, hoping for royalty checks that aren't going to come. Now go back and tell all the writers on the PA forums that publicizing by posting links on Garden Web is not a good idea. |
