beehive in owl box

| I saw bees coming out of my owl box in the oaks. I called a beekeeper to remove them so owls could take up residence; however, he said the smell can never be completely removed and owls would no longer use it. Has anyone else ever had this happen?

| Wait and see if the owls come back ... most birds don't have a good sense of smell. |

| Owls usually have very poos sense of smell. Even worse then other birds. |
