ok so this is my story, i live clark unicersity area and i have found a small nice frog in a near by baseball park, i pick it up and carry it home to keep it, fed it bond it with it and all . The first day it snow 10-20-09 the frog look sick that same early morning house temp is warm and so her tank well she lived, well the point is she look sick and i first thought she was gonna die(green frog)so i sat with it and waited till i came up with something, well i google frog and it talk about frogs icing out from the inside out for hibernation at first touch of snow flake so im thinking my frog want to fall in hibernation so i bring it out quick it was snowing alot at leasse 3inches it has been snowing all night so it was cold so i did not want to see it surfer so i wanted to speed up the process in what i think is logical so i made the frog front paw touch the snow so it body can tell it "its time to sleep for winter"? well after that i put it in a bowl of water and she actually struggle to swim so i did not want her to drown so i placed my hand in the bowl so she swim close to my hand to hold on and kinda float, well after that i pulled her out the water and let her sit and study her reactions to touch and breathing and she looked the same to me so after that i felt it was time to put her to speed sleep? i got a OLD COUNTRY BUTTER EMPTY BUCKET AND FILL IT WITH TREE BRACHES AND PLANTS AND SNOW AND I PUT HER IN IT KINDA BURIAL STYLE BUT FACE OUT OF SNOW , WELL KEPT HER OUT SIDE THRU OUT MOST WINTER TODAY IS 2/26 1205PM SO I BROUGHT HER BACK IN HER BODY LOOKS GOOD SHAPE NOTHING WRONG IT LOOKS LIKE A FROG THAT IS SLEEPING EYES KINDA CLOSED AND MOUTH SHUT LEGS AT SEMI 4STAND well now im just gonna keep her in side in a dry empty bucket with little water in it till she thaw out her belly is warm and the back top is kinda iced cold? so it skin feels hard normal i guess comment back on my post guy im hoping i can help other as i need help as well thanks...ill keep posted on details on her,
