I am hoping someone here can give me advice, I found a sick looking frog in my yard today. Since I have bunches of leopard frogs in my goldfish pond area, I am worried a virus may spread? What should I do?
Thanks,

Just a thought, I'd either catch him and release him in some other pond far away, or (others may agree or disagree) if you are concerned about it spreading to your fish, well you know what must be done.

thanks, I followed your suggestion, caught him (was easy enough) and released him in the wild. I just hope it isn't a 'bad' virus.

You probably just killed an entire population of frogs and amphibians. That looks like a contagious strain of bacteria that is spread from non native fish.

It looks to me like maybe the skin was torn off rather than a growth over the skin. Maybe something grabbed it and it jumped causing some of it's skin to be torn off.
