Toads in window wells

Posted by jmjdesigns (My Page) on

I have a rather large number of toads that have burrowed into the dirt in my window wells, right along my foundation. The smell in my basement near these windows is aweful! Does anyone know what I can do to either remove the toads or get rid of the smell?

RE: Toads in window wells

You can buy covers for your window wells at Home Depot or Lowes - they are these large plastic bubble-looking things...that should keep most of the toads out. Make sure you remove the toads and all over debris from the wells before you put the cover on...and it'd probably be a good idea to put a nice layer of pea gravel down there too.
