Salamander ID - S.Louisiana - 2 photos

He/She is about 3-3.5" in length.
Found in pinewoods bottomland.

I think it's a Five-lined skink - a reptile. Great photos!!!

After google- I believe you are correct, thanks.

Eumeces fasciatus - Young have a bright blue tail while adult males often loose their stripes and develop reddish or orange coloration on the head.
