Anole scat?

Posted by PFMastin (My Page) on

Can someone tell me what Anole "scat" looks like? I find what I think is Anole doo on my front porch and in the windowsills. It's blackish/brown, 1/2 - 3/4 inch long and about 1/5" in diameter. Just wondering if that's who it belongs to? The only other critters tht are a possibility are toads and maybe tree frogs. Any input appreciated. :)

Hm, I've found Green anoles leave mostly whitish droppings.

Pam,
I found unusual looking droppings on the balcony of one building that sounds more less like what you've seen. I was thinking some kind of mouse, rat, squirrel....until I looked up. There was a bat using a small nook to sleep in during the day and the balcony floor as a latrine. It's a long shot but you might look up insteand of down
