Just wanted to touch base!

It has been really slow herping lately, but I had good day today considering the weather conditions. My mom wanted to know if I wanted to go for a scenic drive, so I accepted. I figured while out we would stop off at some junk sites. The first site didn't produce at all. The next site however produced well. There were a few bulky boards scattered about, tarps everywhere, and a big pile of dry wall. All of which produced something. The few minutes of herping totaled:

2 - Midland Brown Snakes
2 - Diamond-backed Water Snakes
1 - Northern Water Snake
1 - Eastern Garter Snake
4 - Blanchard's Cricket Frogs
2 - Fowler's Toads
1 - American Toad
1 - Southern Leopard Frog
1 - Five-lined Skink
1 - Broad-headed Skink

Nice finds there! Its been pretty slow here in Kansas with the heat and all. But I think the temps are starting to fall in the herpers favor.

Good job Ryan! It's been a while since I've last seen a snake. Getting close to a month now!
